■ How dose it work?

Open your eye widely

1) A user must enroll their iris for feature verification (1:1) or identification (1:N). A user can enroll by aligning their iris on a JIRIS iris authentication device such as a AJEC2000 and digital camera integrated with PVR.
2) Camera captures the user's iris and photos of the user's face.
3) SEPZ extracts feature from the iris image and converts the data into a unique 270byte mathematical template, comparable to a digit password.
4) This unique template is then encrypted and stored to represent the user. No actual image of the iris is stored.
5) For verification, an enrolled user states who they are(i.e. enters a user ID) and places his or her iris on the camera. A new iris image of the user is captured.
Feature point is extracted from the iris and converted into a template. This template is then compared to the user's pre-enrolled template for a match. If the templates match, the user is verified positively.
6) For identification, a user places his or her iris on camera without stating their identity (i.e. does not enter any user ID). The newly extracted template is then matched against pre-existing templates. If there is a match, the user is identified as the user who enrolled the pre-existing template.

Iris authentication can be used in any application that requires security, access control, and identification or verification of the user.
